Aspiration Mentorship & Skills
Youth Policy Forum (YPF) Aspiration program is our mentorship program that has been created to assist the students and young professionals in our network for their professional and personal growth. It is a three-month program that will help young minds connect with seasoned professionals and experts who will play a role in shaping them. This program, in essence, is a bridge between generations and every individual associated with our program benefits from it in constructive ways while making our YPF network stronger.
In our very first batch, we have made over thirty mentor-mentee connections in areas ranging from US Master’s Application Process to International Relations.
Through our Skills program, we host webinars on critical academic and job skills to empower the upcoming generation with necessary knowledge and techniques. Accomplished people from their respective backgrounds speak in the webinar to enlighten the participants. So far three sessions have been taken: Managing stress at workplace, Bengali writing skills and How to get started with e-commerce and utilize new media channels. The contents of the webinars are summarized in infographic content, which are then distributed from our YPF Facebook group, so that the people who could not attend the webinar can obtain quick information in an efficient way.
In a nutshell, the Mentorship and Skills team aims to help the dreamers to aspire to those great heights they always wanted to reach.
